What are eStatements?

With eStatements, you will receive your account statement online rather than through the mail. An email notification will be sent to you each month when your statement is available to view online.
How do I sign up for eStatements?

If you are an Online Banking customer, and we have a valid email address on file for you, you will begin receiving eStatements automatically.
Will I continue to receive my printed statement
in the mail when I begin receiving eStatements?

No, when you begin receiving eStatements you will not receive a paper statement in the mail.
What if I decide that I would like to receive paper statements again?

Should you decide that you would prefer to receive paper statements, you can log on to Online Banking at any time to change your preferences. Simply click on the eStatements tab, then on Documents and Settings in order to unenroll specific accounts from the eStatements service.
You can also stop by your local branch, call us at 307-332-4730, or email us at onlinesupport@centralbanktrust.com to request deactivation from the eStatements service.
Are eStatements available on all Central Bank and Trust accounts?

eStatements are currently available for checking, savings, money market, line of credit, certificate of deposit, and IRA accounts.
Is there a cost associated with receiving eStatements?

No, eStatements are a free service provided to Central Bank and Trust customers.
Will my eStatement look the same as my printed statement?

Yes. Your eStatement will be a PDF version of your actual printed statement.
Can I have my eStatement notification sent to multiple email addresses?

Yes, you can choose to send your eStatement notifications to up to three email addresses per account.
While logged on to Online Banking, click on the eStatements tab and then on Additional Recipients. You will need to assign an email address, user name, and access PIN for each additional recipient.
Is special software required to view my eStatement online?

Yes. Your eStatements will be available as PDF files, allowing you to easily view, print, or save your statement on your computer. To download, view, and print your eStatements, you must have a PDF reader (ie Adobe Acrobat Reader) installed on your computer. The latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader is free, and is available for download here.

What should I do if I don't receive my eStatement?

If you have not received an email notifying you that your statement is available to view online, we may have an outdated email address on file for you. If your email address is not correct, we will be unable to deliver your eStatement notice.
Because Central Bank and Trust would be unable to notify you when your eStatement is available, failure to update and/or correct your email address may result in resumption of paper statement delivery.
How secure are eStatements?

eStatements are stored on our secure web server, where your account information is protected by 128-bit encryption technology.
How do I change the email address to which my eStatement notifications are sent?

You can change your eStatement notification email address at any time by logging on to Online Banking. Click on the eStatements tab, and then click on Email Settings.
Your current email address is listed. Make any necessary changes, and then click on Save Settings.
What is a security phrase?

All authentic email notifications from the eStatements service will include your security phrase in the actual email. Your security phrase will appear in the subject line of the email, in the email itself, and in the eStatement file attachment.
The eStatements service uses the primary account holder's date of birth (in six digit format, MMDDYY) as the security phrase. For example, if your birthday is December 31, 1965, then your security phrase would be 123165.
The security phrase is intended to assure our customers that any emailed documents have indeed originated from the eStatements service.
How do I change my security phrase?

You can change your security phrase by logging on to Online Banking. Click on the eStatements tab, and then click on Email Settings.
Your current security phrase is listed. Enter your new security phrase, and click on Save Settings.
When can I expect to receive my first eStatement?

You will begin to receive eStatements and stop receiving paper statements with your next statement cycle. If your statement has recently cycled, you may receive one last paper statement before electronic statements begin.
How will I know when my eStatement is available to view online?

You will receive an email notification when your new eStatement is available to view online. This email will contain an attachment from which to log on to Online Banking. Once logged on, you will be taken directly to your most recent eStatement.
How do I view my eStatement?

The email notification will contain an attachment that will require you to log on with your Online Banking credentials. Once logged on, you will be taken directly to your most recent eStatement.
You may also access your eStatements by directly logging on to Online Banking. As your eStatement history builds, you will be able to access eStatements from the previous 18 months.
How do I save my eStatement?

To save your eStatement, click the Save button in Adobe Acrobat Reader. You will be prompted to choose a location to save the eStatement.
How do I print my eStatement?

To print your eStatement, click the Print button in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
How long will my eStatement be available to view online?

eStatements are available to view for 18 months, while electronically generated account notices are stored for 60 days. Your eStatement history can be viewed in Online Banking, by clicking on the eStatements tab.
